La Troy Farrow enters his
first season as Head Coach of the Quad City
Riverhawks. Farrow comes to the Riverhawks from
Gannon University in Erie, PA where he was an
assistant coach the past two seasons. During the
2004-05 season, La Troy served under Head Coach
Chris Daleo with the CBA Rockford Lightning. The
Lightning made it all the way to the CBA Finals
before falling to the eventual champions the Sioux
Falls SkyForce. That same season he served as an
assistant coach for the CBA All-Star Game helping
the Eastern Conference to a 114-110 victory. While
with the Lightning, Farrow also served as the team’s
Director of Public Relations.
Coach Farrow played college ball at NAIA Barat (IL)
College prior to transferring to NCAA Div. II power
Kentucky Wesleyan College. In 2002 Farrow led the
Bulldogs to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic
Conference championship and an appearance in the
NAIA Div.I Final Four. During the 2003-04 season he
helped lead KWC to the Great Lakes Valley Conference
Crown.

Rufus Greer joins the
Riverhawks bench for the 2008 season. Fans will
remember Greer as the man who used to walk the
sidelines as Head Coach at Black Hawk College. Rufus
has also been involved in many different community
projects throughout the Quad Cities. |
